"Common Sense Parenting” Classes Make a Difference.

To be a good parent today, you need both a warm heart and a cool head; along with unconditional love and respect for your child.  

New Frontiers for Families is so excited to be offering “Common Sense Parenting” classes in our communities, in southern Utah.  These classes really do make a difference. 

The classes are for parents, Grandparents, or for anyone wanting to improve their parenting skills. The classes help good parents become better. 

The skills learned in the classes are helpful and can be use in every aspect of a person’s life.  Parents learn skills that are logical, workable; and they can see immediate improvement. It is a positive approach to discipline. It is a step-by-step guide for raising responsible kids and building happy family relationships.  

In addition, to the “Common Sense Parenting” classes that are for ages for ages 6 and up, New Frontiers offers to parents a “Common Sense Parenting for Toddlers.  

The classes are all confidential. The classes are held in a fun, friendly atmosphere.  It’s fun for parents to exchange funny stories, and share experience, and have refreshments.   The classes run for 6 weeks and start again about every 8 weeks. The next classes will begin in January.  

Some topics the classes will include are peer pressure and choices, the influence of the media, your child’s success in school, teaching self- control, reaching goals, and communication.
